Ethernet Power Management

GENERAL

Your laptop may have power saving settings that allow it to shut down devices it sees as idle and/or pulling power. If your laptop's current Ethernet setup allows for this, it could turn off the Ethernet port without notifying you, blocking communications with your DAS.

AS A RULE:

If you have a laptop that will be used for testing, it's best to make sure this power setting is not enabled. As always, feel free to contact DTS Support if you have any questions.
