DataPRO, the single software solution capable of running all DTS hardware platforms (TDAS PRO, TDAS G5, SLICE Micro/Nano, SLICE PRO) has been delivered to multiple customers that have been successfully conducting tests during the past year. DataPRO is still, and will for some time be, under development that is heavily influenced by user feedback.
Most users that are currently using DataPRO are working with a version from the 1.1 branch. The 1.3 branch is now in development and the next public release will likely be issued from this branch. We hope to have a 1.3 release by the end of 2016.
Some of the main highlights of what we’ve been working on the past few months are:
- Added functionality that makes using DataPRO comparable to using SLICEWare
- Added ability to import a test setup in csv format
- Added realtime summation and averaging of multiple channels as well as realtime data logging
- Significantly improved the process for creating custom ISO channels and adding Groups to Test Setups
We’ll be using the next couple months to wrap up implementation of the features listed above, as well as redesign the viewer. We’ll be adding in a number of features to both Realtime and View Data that will provide much more functionality and data manipulation options.
We’ve also decided to offer options for tiered versions of DataPRO. We don’t have the full details yet regarding features and prices, but hope to have these tiered versions available by early 2017.
If you’re currently working with DataPRO, the recent and upcoming changes should improve your use of several key functions. Due to the nature of these changes, however, please plan additional time to work with DTS when upgrading. If you’re not yet working with DataPRO but interested in seeing what would be involved with making the change, please contact DTS Sales/Support to start the conversation.
