The sensor setup application note PDF contains attachments for sample setup TDAS Control SIFs and SLICEWare XML files. For TDAS Control users, copy the SIF files to your \sif directory. For SLICEWare users, copy the XML files to any location and use the 'Merge XML' command.

Can you put the XML and sample SIF files that are attached to the PDF as attachments on this article? When I try to save the files from the PDF file, I always get an error of "You have selected a file that cannot be exported from Acrobat".
Check your Acrobat setting in Edit-->Preferences-->Trust Manager and let me know if you have "Allow opening of PDF file attachments" checked. At a minimum it should allow you to right click and save the attachment. Double-click the file and this will open the options dialog to allow opening.
I always save the attachment so it doesn't need to open within Acrobat
Pat,
My "Allow opening of PDF file attachments" is checked. When I right click and select "Save Attachement", I get "You have selected a file that cannot be exported from Acrobat."
When I double click or right click and select "Open Attachment" I get "Acrobat cannot open the file attachment because your PDF file attachment settings do not allow this type to be opened".
Pat,
I figured out how to make this work, but it probably isn't going to work for a lot of people because I had to edit the registry on my machine to trust .sif and .xml files. I'm lucky that I have admin access to my computer and can do that. Here's the article I used to make the registry edits.

THEN, I also had to go to Edit-->Preferences-->Security(Enhanced) and untick the "Enable Protected Mode at Startup". Then is would let me save the .sif and XMLs files out of the document.
Thanks Nick. Sorry you had to dig deeper into the settings. From this point on I will also include the XML files in a ZIP and place them in the same article
