If you have the Hardware Discovery Enabled in TDAS Control, you will need set TDAS Control to Run As Administrator. Hardware Discovery uses a Broadcast Ping to locate TDAS hardware on the local subnet. Windows 7 and later blocks the Broadcast Ping unless the software has Administrator privileges.
If you don't have administrator privileges, contact your IT department. The procedure is as follows:
- Right click the shortcut or .exe icon for your software
- Choose "Properties" and select the "Compatibility" tab
- Click "Change settings for all users"
- Check the "Run this program as administrator" box and click "OK"
